Kristine took home a gorgeous dark gold Selmer Reference 54 alto to Brisbane where she is studying Performance at the University of Queensland. We wish her all the best!

Michael Duke, Andrew Smith, Nathan Henshaw,and Jay Byrnes of the Nexus Saxophone Quarted entertained us with some classical tunes in the woodwind department.

After the quarted played, students had the opportunity to learn about mouthpieces, ligatures, and instrument choice.

It was a rollicking workshop at Knox Grammar school and Steve gave an amazingly insightful class.
Steve Mead was very impressed at the September 2012 workshop held at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with the quality of playing exhibited by the students.

Piecing together a humanoid sculpted from derelict old instruments - Aomeone obviously had too much time on their hands one Friday afternoon!

We found time after the back-to-school rush to have a staff dinner together at the Royal Oak Hotel in Balmain. The food was great and it was nice to chat outside of work.

We were pleased to be able to assist the Schroer family and students at a school in Zimbabwe with some Yamaha student recorders.

Apparently some of the kids were better than the teachers at the recorder!

Oh look!! Sarah-Grace Williams was first in, best dressed and was very happy with her choice of two Festival clarinets.

Wow! A matched set of Yanagisawas with sterling silver bodies (and brass bows and bells on the alto and tenor). These are the best of the best.

Here's Tim Stocker living the good life in New York city. He and his new wife Cat have settled in Manhattan and are enjoying all the cultural fruits of the Big Apple. He has even discovered where to get a drinkable cup of coffee!

In November Sydney experienced the sensation that is the Berliner Philharmoniker, and we were treated to a visit by Principal Trumpet Tamas Velenczei who spent a bit of time with us. Here he is with Andrew Evans of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and Rob.

P. Maurait artist Roger Manins paid a visit and enjoyed playing the range of P. Mauriat saxophones we have in the store.

We received a visit from renowned vintage instrument repairer Steve Laws from Oakdene Music Services in Essex in the UK. He is on a motorcycle trip of our fair land and somehow managed to convince his wife to stay at home! (much to our amusement). Have a safe trip and send us some photos, Steve!

It was great to be able to bring specialist musical products to our friends in Narrabri.

Visitors come from all over Australia to play and choose from our range of Durk, Paxman, Alexander, and Yamaha French horns.
