Napbirt Conference Reno 2011
Instrument repair technician Di Gardiner attended the 2011 Napbirt conference in Reno Nevada in April. She brought back lots of great hints and tricks as well as information from the various trade stands and workshops she was involved with. Take a look below and you will see that not all of it was hard work!

Napbirt Executive Director Bill Mathews kicked off the proceedings with the big news that the regrional conference will be hosted by Australia in 2012!

Di was able to meet fellow technician Tait Solberg with whom she has corresponded over the years.

Another of Di's buddies is Craig from Allied Supplies.

So many tools - so little time!

The MDRS stand has us all enthralled by the "balls of steel" on display!

A rare Adolphe Sax original saxophone was on display for us all to admire and discuss.

Frans Philippens is the coordinator for the Australian zone of Napbirt and repairs for Andre Rieu and his orchestra amongst other famous players. Here he is with Bill Mathews and bear.

Many famous faces were seen at the conference.

Allied Supply had a wonderful display that made us all drool.

Scott Mandeville talked about the finer points of clarinet work.

Jeff from JL Smith, who is actually related to Napolean Bonaparte ( ! ) was an inspiring clinician who enjoyed letting down his hair after hours.
