Our Repair Department is open most afternoons but you may leave repairs with us at any time.

Short term hire student instruments may be available for a nominal charge while your instrument is being repaired.

Our staff are very experienced in all kinds of Brass and Woodwind repairs (with the possible exception of bagpipes!) and we endeavour to keep turnaround time to a minimum. However, be prepared to wait longer for major panelbeating or overhauls. Some minor repairs may be carried out while you wait (or have a snack in the cafe next door).

Approximate costs are:

Basic service for a flute/clarinet/saxophone: $80 to $150

Basic service for a trumpet/cornet/trombone: $60 to $120

These prices will change according to the length of time qnd parts needed to complete a service or repair.

All repairs carry a three month warranty*.

It is advisable to bring your instrument in for a basic service/check once per year to keep it in top working order. We also sell a variety of care and maintenance products for on-going upkeep of your instrument.

*This warranty covers any work done by our repair staff, and does not cover any subsequent damage or wear, nor any problem with the instrument which was not addressed at the time of the initial repair at the customer's request.
