accept most major Credit cards. (please complete a "Credit
Card Authority" Form and return to us). If you
are an overseas customer, please notify your bank of the impending
foreign purchase and the amount, as this will simplify the procedure
at this end. Bank cheques (in Australian dollars, Euros, US dollars)
are also accepted.
Direct
deposit to our bank account can be done by you if you have
an on-line banking facility, or by your bank. Please send confirmation
of payment showing your name, goods ordered and bank receipt number.
Once the funds havebeen cleared the good will be ready forcollection/delivery. Direct

course, if you are shopping in person, we accept cash too. Please
do not attempt to send cash by mail/courier or any method other
than handing it to us yourself.

Be
sure to include your full name and address. If within Australia,
you will need to supply a shipping address where someone is able
to receive the goods between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm for delivery by
our courier company (a work address is often the most suitable).

note that for security reasons, if you are not shopping personally
goods will ONLY be sent by our carrier to you. They will NOT be
available to be picked up by any person or carrier other than ours.

Please

Prices
shown include GST (Goods and Services Tax - currently 10%).
When
goods are sold for Export, they are exempt from this tax. The WEBDEAL
PRICE MAY BE REDUCED BY THE TAX AMOUNT. The price you pay will be
Webdeal Price divided by 1.1 (e.g. Webdeal = $1000.00, Export Price
= $909.09). This reduction is not available to Australian Residents.
Contact
your local Bank/Card Issuer for Exchange Rates and Fees which may
be payable on International Transactions. Exchange rates are available
on www.bloomberg.com,
or a number of other sites on the Internet. Please note that Exchange
Rates are set by the bank at the time of the transaction being processed,
and may therefore differ slightly from the amount you may calculate.
Your bank can tell you exactly the amount charged once the transaction
is complete.
Freight
and Insurance are payable at the time of purchase of any goods,
and are to be fully paid by the Customer.
Those
wishing to pay by Credit Card should notify their Card Issuer in
advance of any large international transactions, to facilitate the
payment being made. Credit

The
customer shall pay all Import Duty, Customs Clearance, Currency
Exchange and/or Transaction Fees which may be charged by any Third
Party (including Banks, Government Agencies or Couriers/Freight
Companies) on any goods or services provided by Sax & Woodwind.
In
some circumstances, Freight Charges may be waived at the discretion
of Sax & Woodwind.
In
case of Warranty Claims, goods must be returned to Sax & Woodwind
for assessment. In case of damage in transit, Photographic evidence
may be sent so that we can expedite any insurance claim and replace/repair
the goods. In some cases, it may be possible to arrange for repairs
in your Country/area, but this must first be authorized by Sax &
Woodwind.

At
Sax & Woodwind we gladly offer lay-by purchases as well as accepting
deposits on instruments as a method of holding a product for you.
For Lay-by purchases we require a minimum of 25% of the purchase
price to be put down as a deposit and we require the full amount
to be paid within 3 months. Goods are not released until full payment
is received.

Goods
which are ordered that are currently out of stock will be placed
on back order and supplied when available at prices established
on the date of dispatch. This will usually apply during multiple
purchases only, though we are happy to place single items on back-order
if required.
If
you DO NOT require out of stock goods to be placed on back order
please inform us at time of payment.

All
Freight and Insurance charges are payable by the customer at the
time of purchase. The dimensions, weight and value of the items
will determine the amounts payable. We will not send instruments without insurance as accidental loss or damage, though
rare, is possible during transit. This requires an insurance levy of approximately 1.5%.
All
of our instruments are thoroughly checked by us before leaving the
store, and every effort is made to ensure that the instruments are
as well packed as possible.
We
use the following carriers:
- Within
Australia: Australia Post Express Post, TNT, or Couriers Please.
Delivery is usually the next day. For centres outside Metropolitan
areas, or in Western Australia, the delivery time may be up to
three days. Delivery address to a workplace is advisable if no-one
will be available to accept delivery at your home address during
normal working hours.
- Overseas:
Australia Post EMS or UPS. Delivery time is usually within 7 days
to most destinations (eg USA, Europe), though a cheaper but longer
delivery time is also available. Delivery address to a workplace
is advisable if no-one will be available to accept delivery at
your home address during normal working hours.
Here
are some examples of freight and insurance costs to USA/Europe for
various articles. These are shown as a guide only, and costs vary
according to the size, weight and value of the items you are purchasing.
Large instruments such as tubas will incurr much higher fees. Please also note that freight costs may also vary according to your
destination country or state, for example freight prices within Australia vary according to the Postcode. We will confirm the exact freight
and insurance costs with you before completing the sale.
