Sax & Woodwind…and Brass is Hiring a Full Time Retail Assistant Maestro!

We are looking for a full-time Retail Assistant to join our fabulous team. If you have a passion for brass and woodwind instruments and a knack for connecting with people, we invite you to be a part of the magic at Sax & Woodwind…and Brass. We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic and reliable Retail Assistant to join a team that shares your love for music and is dedicated to creating a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere for musicians of all levels.

This is a FULL-TIME position, 5 days per week

You will need to tune in to customer needs:

• Connect with customers on a personal level, understanding their musical aspirations, and guiding them to the perfect instruments and accessories
• Provide a memorable shopping experience with expert advice on instrument selection, maintenance, and accessories, ensuring customers leave with a smile and everything they need
• Process customer enquiries, online orders, rentals, and repairs with professionalism and expertise

You will become an instrumental product knowledge and visual merchandising virtuoso:

• Master the technical details and features of our brass and woodwind instruments, becoming a walking encyclopedia of musical wisdom.
• Stay in tune with industry trends and product updates to share the latest with our customers.

• Keep the store looking pitch-perfect with your can-do attitude by maintaining a tidy, attractive, and organized environment.

Your qualifications:

• Previous retail or customer service experience is a bonus but not a requirement
• A deep understanding of brass and/or woodwind instruments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a flair for making customers feel like the conductors of their own musical future.
• The ability to collaborate with colleagues to create a harmonious work atmosphere and contribute to the success of the entire team.
• The ability to balance multiple tasks to keep the rhythm flowing.
