Alexander 103 Bb/F Double French Horn

Model 103 is Alexander's standard model double and according to some sources eighty per cent of German hornists play this model.  The design is basically unchanged since 1909. Recent improvements have improved intonation and consistency. In recent years the application of modern acoustic design principles and manufacturing techniques have solidified Alexander's position at the top of the horn world. Alexander builds single, double, and triple horns as well as Wagner tubas and natural horns (and tubas, by special order) in their workshop in Mainz, Germany.

The 103 is a full double horn and is normally stocked with a yellow brass detachable bell. Other configurations are available to order, please ask.
