Hetman® Tuning Slide Oil is formulated for first and third valve slides (Trumpets, Cornets, etc.). The Hetman® Oil is designed to maintain an airtight seal and smooth slide action when making intonation adjustments. Choose your viscosity grade based on the fit and length of your slides, with lighter viscosities needed for tighter fitting and longer slides, whereas heavier viscosities are for looser fitting and shorter slides. You should choose the heaviest viscosity that still allows rapid slide movement.
