Health and Safety 2023

Updated 6/3/24

With widespread exposure and vaccination Covid 19 has now become one of many background illnesses that humans must tolerate. Anyone who has suffered through RSV will understand our desire to minimise exposure to our staff and other customers. Therefore we will continue to maintain certain aspects of our health and safety policies.

We consider the playing of wind instruments that are not your own to be a high contact activity, since breath (which is needed to play a wind instrument) is the main route of transmission for airborne disease. In order to minimise the spread of colds, flu, RSV, and Covid-19 to others, we ask that all follow these restrictions until further notice:

  • Test playing of instruments is still limited to the day you are ready to make a purchase.
  • If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms please delay your visit until you are symptom-free. Do not visit if you have obvious symptoms.

Thank you for respecting all our efforts to keep yourselves, other customers and our staff safe!
