Changes to Our Covid 19 Policy
We encourage masks to be worn in the store by staff and ask that customers do the same, although it is no longer a requirement.
Although cases of COVID-19 have decreased from the peak we continue to see steady cases including amongst our staff, as well as an uptick in influenza cases.
According to the NSW Government website, masks are only required for certain high-risk settings, such as travel and hospitals, but masks are still encouraged for indoor settings where you cannot maintain a safe distance from others and for customer-facing retail staff.
We consider the playing of wind instruments (that are not your own) to be a high contact activity since breath, which is needed to play a wind instrument, is the main route for COVID-19 infection. In order to reduce the possibility of transmission we will continue to follow these procedures until further notice:
- Masks are encouraged for both staff and customers. Please ensure your mouth and nose are covered.
- Test playing of instruments is restricted to the day you are ready to make a purchase.
- A 7 day in-store quarantine is still required prior to servicing instruments and emergency repairs will be undertaken at the complete discretion of the technician.
