Our Covid 19 Policy
We consider the playing of wind instruments (that are not your own) to be a high contact activity since breath, which is needed to play a wind instrument, is the main route for Covid 19 infection. In order to reduce the possibility of transmission we will continue to follow these procedures until further notice:
Anyone may shop at Sax & Woodwind…and Brass, however*:
- Masks are required for both staff and customers. Please ensure your mouth and nose are covered.
- QR Code Check in is required
- A vaccination certificate or evidence of a negative PCR Covid 19 test (within 3 days) will be required for test playing instruments. Test playing will be restricted to the day you are ready to make a purchase. Please have your finances arranged ahead of time.
- A 7 day in-store quarantine is required prior to servicing instruments and emergency repairs will be undertaken at the complete discretion of the technician.
Thank you for respecting efforts to keep our customers and staff safe. This policy will be reviewed as the situation changes.
These are taking place as usual with some delays as delivery services have been overloaded. This means we cannot guarantee delivery dates. Please be patient as our Posties and drivers navigate through this difficult time!
From Australia Post:
Due to extended COVID-19 restrictions and high parcel volumes, customers may experience delivery delays. Our delivery partner Australia Post is working hard to ensure you receive your items as quickly as possible. We're taking every opportunity we can to reassure customers that deliveries are ongoing and that we've put in place rigorous COVID-19 health and safety measures to help keep them safe. Our website is updated as circumstances evolve.

“Although the public health orders now permit entry to businesses for people who are not fully vaccinated, some businesses may make it a condition of entry that you are fully vaccinated or wear a face mask.”
