The Guntram Wolf S2000 Plus Flamed Maple Bassoon has the qualities of a professional bassoon, offering even playing and secure intonation over the whole range.
The Guntram Wolf Bassoon is made from mountain Maple grown in selected areas that have been seasoned over several years. The wooden body is made using CNC equipment designed for maximum precision and consistency. The bore is fashioned in the same way as Guntram Wolf's professional models, and the new mechanism is designed to be comfortable with 7 rollers and high-quality silver plating finish. The finger holes have ebonite liners that extend into the bore, and the surface of the body is finished with a durable matte-finish synthetic lacquer.
The wood of the Guntram Bassoon is given a special dipping process which improves the resonance of the instrument. All keys that do not have steel axle rods are mounted on Guntram Wolf's patented non-wear bearing system. High E key included. Other optional keys are available to special order.
