The Alexander Model 103 Double French Horn in Bb/F is the Alexander's standard model double and is largely popular among German hornists. The Model 103 French Horn design hasn't been changed much since 1909, with recent improvements to improve intonation and consistency.
In recent years, Alexander have solidified their position at the top of the horn world by utilising modern acoustic design principles and manufacturing techniques. Alexander builds single, double, and triple horns as well as Wagner tubas and natural horns (and tubas, by special order) in their workshop in Mainz, Germany.
The 103 is a full double horn and is normally stocked with a yellow brass detachable bell. Other configurations are available to order, please ask.
