Enjoy the flagship of the Paxman range of horns with the Paxman 20LGDC Double French Horn. The Paxman French Horn features an original and unique design built around the Merewether system. This means that air is able to flow through the valve section in the same direction on both the F and Bb sides of the instrument, minimising airflow disruption from the turning rotor as well as helping craft the characteristic smooth slurring and legato playing on both F and Bb horns.
The Paxman 20 Double French Horn also has an independent tuning slide for both sides of the horn, allowing you to add an extension for a manually operated A/stopping valve. The Paxman Horn's mouthpipe is fitted with a waterkey, and the thumb lever is easily reversible for either F or Bb.
